Avatar Farm 1.2 update released
Finally, 1 week after we submitted the second update, it’s available for download. Remember the changes:
- (Maybe for sure this time)Fixed P2P Freeze during score sharing.
- Added the concept of tools (tractor, seeder…) that improve farming speed.
- Added 5 new plants: Tomato, Potato, Corn, Sunflower, Rice
- Added 2 new decoration elements: Scarecrow, Clothes line
- Fixed USA Flag not visible
- Fixed flags not visible from one side
- Added animations to all flags.
- Increased level cap to 20.
- Now you are asked to sign in with an account before playing
- Added freeze and crash detection system to improve further bugfixing.
- Added a progress indicator to the season text.
- Improved scenery around the farm
Sadly, it seems the freeze bug hasn’t been fixed on this update as usual :(, and the freeze detector doesn’t seem to be working as expected, so we won’t be able to get more info on the issue (We experienced the freeze just one time, though).
Remember that if you experiment the freeze issue, you can disable P2P scores on the game settings and they will go away.

Farm extension is one of the features we’re planning on adding on the future 🙂
I harvest trees every season on my farm, and with a total of 384 trees on my farm I got to thinking a new tool for harvesting trees would be really helpful.
Is this something you would consider adding to the game soon I hope?
Also, while I’m talking about tools, I can’t help but notice that both water trucks have either half or less than half the capacity of other tools. Since the Water truck is the only tool that would be used multiple times during the course of a single harvest I’m not sure why you chose that tool to have less capacity than the others.
it would make more sense to give the water truck more capacity than the other tools since it would be used more often during a harvest.
Just a couple suggestions anyway.

It will be nice, if we could harvest also trees by harvester. Or mayba add some new trees harvester? And why you block level on 20th? Why do not allow to 50th o highier? It’s frustrating if you lose exp points… Why sonflowers are not a flowers (can’t be sell in greenhouse)
We made it like that because the water truck only costs coins but we’ll try to change think about it for the next update.
We’ll also try to add a tree harvester 🙂
There are no more items, so raising the level would have no purpose. But your exp is not being wasted even though the player level has a limit. So it should become useful when we raise the level cap.
Well, I recently saved my gameplay status prior to freezing, after reaching level 13, and after saving the game it reverted me to level 1, I backed out without just shutting off my xbox and now it’s stuck this way. Is this some kind of NEW glitch? This is awful….I lost my entire farm.
It’s the same glith that freezes the console actually, only that happens when you’re saving a game.
We’ve already submitted a patch to fix it (we’re going to create several backups of your farm, so you can revert to that last one). But the update has been in approval for a long time, and it’s still there. Sadly there’s little we can do to speed up the process 🙁
What would be the chances of buying further land to add on to you existing Farm.
I’m a little late in the game being that I just d/l and started playing this yesterday but boy do I love it. Can’t get enough! Please keep the updates coming and the suggestions above seem appropriate since I love doing the trees too and am getting ready to open my second fruit stand so to make more cash so I can buy more equipment. I went looking to see when a last update was done and was wondering if there are more in the works or is this the final product. I think at some point I would like a larger farm or maybe a second one.

We don’t currently have plans for any major update for Avatar Farm in the near future. There are chances of a sequel with more features though, but can’t promise anything. If that’s the case we would look for a way to export data from the first game into the sequel.
