NOOOOO I DON’T HAVE ANY MICROSOFT POINTS D:
Great news, though! Can’t wait to record it. 🙂

  • v Repuk says:

Why do we have to pay i understand that you have put loads of work into it but you could of told us we had to pay.

  • Leonides says:

Word I agree with v repuk u guys really are mest up not letting us know u was charging us smh

  • Leonides says:

A game that we already bought and you decide charging 80 ms points thts ridicuolous

  • Marcos Lopez says:

Had to pay another 80 MS points.. but it’s well worth it! 3 new HUGE maps and 12 characters to choose from. You guys should have warned us ahead about it being a completely whole new game but I expected it as soon as the cover art was released.

  • Raven says:

have buyd today extra 800 new MPoints to buy this Game 😀 wait weeks for it :3

  • SiaMoon says:

Me and my friends have it now, and it’s a lot more fun playing it knowing they’re with me, haha. Well worth the 80 MSP. Great job guys, this is definitely gonna keep me jumping for a long time. Hope to see more horror projects like this soon!

On a side note, if anyone would like to do a couple play throughs at some point, feel free to add my gamertag: SiaMoon.

  • Floyd says:

I’m sorry, but if you couldn’t tell that “White Noise Online” was a different game than “White Noise”, then it’s your own fault. Not to mention, all of the news updates made that clear. Quit whining about 80 Microsoft Points and be thankful that they made it. I certainly am.

  • no they didnt says:

They never fully came out and said it was a new game, and to get most of the characters you need to buy their other games. Dirty buisness tactics luckly I had most already.

  • Floyd says:

They’re extra exclusives just like any of the extra items in their other games. There are characters that you can unlock within the game itself. Again, if you read, they also said that they’ll add more if people show interest. I mean, seriously, do you think a game that just came out will have everything that you desire? You are just trying to come up with excuses. They made this entire thing obvious and you are all simply blind and greedy. Go get a job and make some money. Then maybe you won’t have to complain about the cheapest of things.

  • you are a moron says:

They told us we would have 12 characters not we would have 12 characters if we buy their other games. Jesus christ you’re stupid.

  • you are a moron says:

Not to mention I already stated I had most of their games already kid so how am I the greedy one again? Jeez you need to pay more attention to replys.

  • they werent clear says:

They were deffinetly not clear on characters at all telling us we would have 12 characters and unlockable ones should have been worded better or made clear you wouldn’t have all 12 to begin with in the base game. Other than that there aren’t any complaints “Floyd” so get off your high horse and accept that they weren’t entirely clear in their updates which mislead most of the fanbase.

  • Raven says:

you dont have to buy it!

  • Raven says:

its make so much fun! I love it! 😀

  • WaaghMan says:

We started calling it White Noise Online from the start, so it was obviously going to be a new game.

As for the characters, my mistake, I said 12 unlockable characters (they ended up being 14) and didn’t think about HOW they were unlocked.

Don’t worry, we’re going to add more unlockable characters (by picking pages) on the next update, we have some interesting ideas :). We’ll probably release some new scenarios too, but they will take more time.

  • new characters says:

Could you make more characters that will balance out the character from street racers she’s always way ahead of the group.

  • face palm says:

As already stated I have it and most of their games raven you’re an idiot.

  • Soy1Bonus says:

We’re working on that. But be aware that if a character gets ahead of the group it has more chance of dying 🙂

  • Raven says:

I buyd the games to 😉 I only mean he just dont net to complain.

  • TRey says:

oh in the next update can u make it to where u can see other poeple light from their flashlight like the area not just the little thing i say in gameplay

  • WaaghMan says:

That’s not technically possible sadly, the Xbox isn’t powerful enough (and/or we aren’t good enough) to do 4 light projections at the same time.

  • DreamcastUK says:

    Hello Guys,
Let me start by saying what a great game ‘White Noise Online’ is , its a breath of fresh air from the normal shooter or anything with a avatar indie games on the marketplace and for a 4 player online co op survival horror title 80ms points is so cheap most items in the avatar market place are more money then this.

With the added extra bonus content for purchasing some of milkstones back catalog to unlock content within the game meant I could put a White Noise Cabinet in my farm on Avatar Farm Online.

Every time I have online playing White Noise Online I have found that there is nice gamers out there unlike some of the screamers that you find on triple A title who are clearly not old enough to play them.

Great game , great online experience well worth 80ms points , good work Milkstone..

  • Zodiac5517 says:

    Any Dev entries lately?

  • WaaghMan says:

Not really, and we’ll be on a trip the rest of the week, so nothing until monday.

We’ve submitted an update for Avatar Farm Online and are working on new content for WNO (new unlockable characters with new models, not just skins).

  • HomiSite says:

Just played WNO today with two friends. We liked it but we are cowards and I don’t know it we’ll play it again soo (I played WN only once because of that reason ;)). Of course we didn’t find all tapes before we died. So, some questions/feedback:

    1. How does the monster mechanic work exactly? I thought you can turn and run from the monster if it is right in front of you, but we never manage to do that. Or is that the Game Over moment when you had looked to long to the monster before (depending on some character stats)? And not always do all characters see the monster, right?

    2. It would be very nice if the characters’ different stats would be explained. You only see at game start what the symbols stand for, but not really what they do.

    3. The shadow effects are quite nice for a XBLIG. As you mentioned above, unfortunately you can’t improve the visibility of other characters’ flashlights.

    4. I find that the tape recorders’ white noise is quite hard to hear, especially when there is chirring and later sound and music (is this by design so that you are forced to check everything from very near?). And the voice is hard to understand, too.

    5. I never played WN long enough to know, but are these pillars new? They deal as specual obstacles, right? It was very “funny” when we found ourselves surrounded by pillars and the monster :-D.

    6. I read the “controversy” about the unlockable characters. It was unfortunate, I guess, but I find it not that bad. It is still a game for around 1€! Do you have a philosopy which game codes you allow in a game (e.g. “our best selling games”)?

  • Zodiac5517 says:

Well have fun on your trip :3

  • EllisHoeffler says:

soo… I love white noise online. What would be nice features are:

    1. two player split screen

    2. less loud and weird but obnoxious heavy breathing noises maybe more like the original wn and a little different sounding noises for the diffrent characters

    3. a mode where you get to take turns playing the monster and the moore tapes or pages people collect the faster the monster player can telleport

    4. when you see other players walk around the feet look like they dont have any traction it looks like they are walking on ice sort-of so it would be nice to have that fixed.

    otherwise a great game!

  • Trey says:

oh thanks ofr reply and what is that otem thing that messes with my screen when i look at it its like im staring at the white noise kinda oh and can u add a map after collecting a certain number of tapes that records where yuv been like in the replay and when i say the white noise others players didnt seem to see him but me wuts with that or maybe everyone sees a diferrent white noise

  • Trey says:

ill play with u some time im on Gamertag:xSirBlacksAlotx friend me if u want or invite me if im on usually during weekeneds and mondays sometimes on the week

  • Trey says:

alos cant wait to pis my pants with my friend great game hope u make a special white noise character skin and model if u get 100 or 50 tape most lickely a hundred tape make it feel accomplishing with perks like u can stare down th white noise and not die just hope that happen

  • Soy1Bonus says:

    1. All the characters see the monster (if they’re alive, though). And you can run away from the monster, but most of the time, if it’s too close it’ll be too late. When the character gets too much noise on the screen (their sanity is low) the monster appear just in front, that’s the Game Over you’re mentioning. But that only happens when the character sanity is close to zero.

    2. The stats will be explained in the next patch, but there’s a thread on the White Noise forum that explains them.

    3. Adding other character’s flashlights would be too much for the Xbox hardware to handle. But we’ll try to improve the graphic performance as much as we can.

    4. The voice is myself talking, and my english is not very good, so I chose to make the voices a bit hard to listen to. The 3D audio code will be changed in the next patch and it should make locating the tapes a bit easier.

    5. The pillars are new, they’re idols that some “cultists” used to pray to the monster. Gameplay-wise, they’re usually on the limits of the map or in parts where there is no location, so they act a bit as a “guide” to the player.

    6. Character unlocks are just new skins and combinations of perks. We don’t think they change the gameplay that much, and we’ll be releasing more free characters (and levels) with new patches. The codes are basically from our latest games, and we try to add unlockables for as many games as we can.

  • Soy1Bonus says:

    1. That will be hard because performance is a bit on the edge right now, we would have to remove most of the grass and other details. We’ll look into it, but I can’t promise anything.

    2. Are they really loud? We have two sets of character sounds (male and female) we’ll try adding some more.

    3. We though about something like that during development, but we didn’t want to split the multiplayer base with different game modes. Also the monster has VERY limited movement and it won’t be much fun to control it.

    4. The characters have very few animations, and we would love to add some more. That could fix the problem you’re talking about and integrate the background and the characters better.

  • Zodiac5517 says:

i like the game’s anatognist since it’s kind of like a demon, very Muscualr like some kind of wild animale. is there by any chance to improve his pathfinding or add anything to bolster the demon to be scary but not insanely overpowered?
